Behind every exceptional classroom is a team of educators who never stop growing.

At Castles of Imagination, we believe the best teachers are lifelong learners. While Florida requires child care educators to complete 10 hours of in-service training each year, we proudly go far beyond that standard. Every member of our team completes a minimum of 30 hours of professional  development annually because we believe our children deserve educators who are always learning, improving, and bringing fresh ideas into the classroom.

Mrs. Tina brings learning to life—even if it means wearing a cow costume! During our annual staff training, our team explored Conscious Discipline®, learning how the Red, Blue, and Green Brain states and executive functioning skills shape children's behavior and guide compassionate, effective responses.

Our commitment to growth isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about investing in people.

Throughout the year, our teachers participate in hands-on workshops, coaching sessions, collaborative trainings, conferences, classroom observations, and continuing education focused on the latest research in early childhood education. Together, we explore child development, inclusion, behavior support, social-emotional learning, process art, play-based education, and innovative teaching strategies that help every child succeed.

One of the greatest strengths of being a family-owned preschool is the freedom to focus on what truly matters. We aren’t driven by corporate training requirements or one-size-fits-all programs. Instead, we intentionally choose meaningful professional development that reflects the needs of our children, our families, and our community.

Our teachers regularly collaborate with one another—sharing successes, discussing challenges, celebrating ideas, and learning from each other’s experiences. We know that when educators feel inspired, supported, and confident, children experience richer learning, stronger relationships, and classrooms filled with curiosity and joy.

Every new strategy we learn, every conversation we have, and every training we attend ultimately benefits the children entrusted to our care.

This dedication to continuous learning is one of the many ways we live out our promise to be more than just a preschool. We strive to be a place where children feel safe, celebrated, challenged, and deeply loved—and where educators are continually growing alongside them.

At Castles of Imagination, we don’t settle for the minimum because your child deserves more than the minimum.

Training days can be long, so sometimes we wake everyone up with a little old-fashioned Rock, Paper, Scissors competition! A little friendly competition, lots of laughs, and then it's back to learning together.

We believe excellence is intentional, growth never stops, and investing in our teachers is one of the greatest investments we can make in your child’s future.

Because when teachers continue to learn, children continue to thrive.

That’s what makes Castles of Imagination a true School with Soul.
